The mission was hosted by Jesus Cares Developmental Organisation (JCDO) under Bishop John Matogo Babu, in partnership with Breath of the Spirit Ministries, Chessed Charity, and Heal the Planet Global Organisation (HTP). It combined faith-based renewal with life-saving interventions, reaching thousands of refugees living near the South Sudan and Democratic Republic of Congo borders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A Blend of Spiritual and Humanitarian Impact<\/strong> Beyond the spiritual revival, the mission prioritized health and nutrition. A two-day medical camp attended by over 815 refugees provided free consultations, treatment, and medicines, saving lives and restoring hope. In another highlight, more than 10,000 refugees, including children and the elderly, were served a hot meal\u2014an event met with joy and deep gratitude from families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Recognizing rising food insecurity after reductions in UNHCR rations, Dr. Corral also launched a weekly household food distribution program targeting 150 of the most vulnerable families. The intervention follows disturbing reports of more than 10 suicides and at least 30 attempted suicides in the settlement linked to hunger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Voices of Gratitude<\/strong> \u201cDr. Michelle\u2019s prophetic message brought hope and reassurance, reminding us that God is working to transform South Sudan and the region.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Refugee families also expressed gratitude for the gifts, medical care, and food supplies, calling the mission a visible demonstration of compassion and faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Commitment to Advocacy<\/strong> \u201cFor the first time, I am going to become an advocate.
