New Delhi:<\/strong> In a major development in the higher judiciary, the President has approved the appointment of Chief Justices for eight High Courts following consultation with the Chief Justice of India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The appointments were notified by the Central Government, with Union Law and Justice Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal sharing details of the appointments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Among the key appointments, Justice Pushpendra Singh Bhati of the Rajasthan High Court has been appointed Chief Justice of the Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At the same time, Justice Sanjay Kumar Agrawal of the Chhattisgarh High Court has been appointed Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The appointments are as follows: Justice Pushpendra Singh Bhati\u2019s elevation marks a significant transition for the Rajasthan High Court.
