Jaipur<\/strong>: Sixty-six teams from reputed institutions across India came together in Jaipur for Parley 6.0, the national-level debate competition organised by the Kanoria School of Law for Women on September 8 and 9, with the Rajasthan State Human Rights Commission (RSHRC) as its associate institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Held under the leadership of Principal Dr. Vartika Arora and with the guidance and support of RSHRC Chairman G.R. Moolchandani, the competition sought to encourage critical thinking, legal reasoning, research, articulation and constructive discourse among young participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teams from institutions including Symbiosis Noida, NLU Sikkim, Alliance University Bengaluru, Amity University and Army Public School, besides several other reputed institutions, participated in the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event also had Laws and Legals as its Media Partner, extending the competition’s proceedings and achievements to the wider legal and academic community. The association also strengthened the event’s outreach and highlighted the intersection of academic excellence, legal awareness, constitutional values and contemporary discourse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Best Speakers Crowned at Valedictory Session<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Following the inaugural ceremony, the Preliminary Round began at around 11:45 AM on September 8 and was conducted simultaneously across four virtual rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each room had two expert adjudicators, one legal professional and one academician to bring both professional and academic perspectives to the evaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The four panels included Adv. Dinesh Chand Meena and Ms. Navan Singh, Ms. Mudita Sharma and Ms. Ankita Singh, Dr. Sneha Kanwar Rathore and Adv. Anjali Sharma, and Adv. Nikita Ambwani and Dr. Falak Bashir Chaudhary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The preliminary stage saw strong participation and performances from the competing teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

16 Teams Survive as Semi-Final Field Narrows<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The Semi-Final Round was held on September 9, with the 16 shortlisted teams facing another round of rigorous evaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The round was adjudicated by Adv. Amit Mittal and Dr. Bhupesh Rathore, \u201cAssistant Professor, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The participants were assessed on their research, confidence, logical reasoning, articulation and ability to effectively counter opposing arguments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Six Finalists to compete for Top Honours<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The final stage was adjudicated by an eminent panel comprising Dr. Anjali Bhatia, Principal, \u201cAditya College of Law, Bangalore\u201d, and Adv. Ashok Chhangani, \u201cRajasthan High Court.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shortlisted participants were assessed on research, logical reasoning, confidence, articulation and their ability to respond effectively to opposing arguments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Best Speakers Crowned at Valedictory Session<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The competition concluded with a Valedictory Session on September 9, where the performances of the participants were recognized and certificates, accolades and cash prizes were presented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the Motion category, S. Sruthi of \u201cCentral Law College, Salem\u201d was awarded Best Speaker while Prachi Chakravarty of \u201cUniversity Law College and Department of Studies in Law\u201d was named Runner-up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Against the Motion category, Stuti Tiwari of \u201cMahindra University School of Law, Hyderabad\u201d secured the Best Speaker title, while Sneha Singh of \u201cGuru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar\u201d was declared Runner-up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aditya krishna Malhotra of \u201cV.M. Salgaocar College of Law, Goa\u201d, and Priya Molchandani of \u201cVivekanand Global University\u201d were also among the participants recognised in the final results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Best Speaker winners were awarded \u20b95,100 each, while the Runner-up speakers received \u20b93,100 each for their performances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Valedictory Session also acknowledged the efforts of the participating teams, judges, faculty members, organizing team and other stakeholders who contributed to the conduct of the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parley 6.0 concluded by bringing together young legal minds from across the country on a platform centred on research, rigorous reasoning and informed debate, reinforcing Kanoria School of Law for Women\u2019s focus on legal awareness and meaningful academic discourse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
