Jaipur. The nationwide campaign for fuel conservation and environmental protection has now found reflection in the judiciary as well.

Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent appeal to save fuel and adopt environmentally friendly practices, judges of the Rajasthan High Court are sending a message of simplicity and sustainability through their actions.

After Acting Chief Justice Justice Sanjeev Prakash Sharma gave up using his escort vehicle on Thursday, Rajasthan High Court judge Justice Sameer Jain also arrived at the court on a bicycle on Friday.

According to information received, Justice Sameer Jain has been travelling to the High Court by bicycle for the past several days. On Friday, he cycled from his official residence in Gandhinagar to the Rajasthan High Court, accompanied by security personnel.

By avoiding the use of a government luxury vehicle and choosing a bicycle instead, Justice Jain conveyed a strong message on fuel conservation, fitness, environmental protection, and a simple lifestyle.

The initiative became a major topic of discussion within the High Court premises, where advocates, judicial officers, and staff members appreciated the move and described it as a positive and inspiring step.

Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had urged citizens to save fuel and take responsibility towards environmental protection. The actions of senior judges of the Rajasthan judiciary are now being seen as an inspiring example for the general public as well.
