Jodhpur: Justice Vijay Bishnoi has made strong remarks on crime, morality and social values, stating that people who earn money through criminal activities should not receive recognition or respect in society.
Addressing a social function in Rajasthan, Justice Bishnoi said society should distance itself from such individuals instead of glorifying or honouring them.
A video of his speech has gone viral on social media, drawing widespread attention for his comments on rising criminal tendencies, declining moral values and the growing mentality of achieving success through unethical means.
During his address, Justice Bishnoi expressed concern over what he described as increasing acceptance of shortcuts and dishonest practices in society. He said he strongly dislikes people who indulge in copying or unfair means and stressed that only those who succeed through honesty and hard work deserve social respect.
He observed that crime is not merely a violation of law but also a threat to the moral fabric of society. According to him, criminal behaviour weakens ethical standards and negatively influences future generations.
The Supreme Court judge urged young people to avoid wrong paths and focus on discipline, integrity and sincere effort in life. He said society must encourage honest achievements rather than celebrating wealth or influence obtained through illegal means.
Justice Bishnoi also made strong observations regarding serious offenders. He said society should adopt a strict attitude towards people involved in grave crimes and remarked that if certain criminals continue to pose a threat to society, they perhaps should never be allowed to come out for life.
His remarks have triggered discussions in legal and social circles, with many people describing the speech as a powerful message on morality, accountability and social responsibility. Reactions to his comments are also being widely shared across social media platforms.
